You think your pets are bad? Check out these naughty cats! They've formed some sort of organised gang and they have a well-thought-out plan to get into their owner's fridge.

The caption on the Twitter post reads: “Hey, Karen isn’t looking…I think I saw her stash some fish up there.” We’re pretty sure that’s an accurate description of what these cats were thinking at the time.

Smooth criminals

A video camera captures their terrible crime on tape: when the two family pets think no one is looking, they approach the unguarded fridge. One of them jumps up and manages to pull the fridge door open! And then, it's a free-for-all. Both cats jump into the fridge, but the feline who opened the door seems to be the most agile of the two. Within seconds, he jumps back out of the fridge with a huge piece of human food.

Caught red-pawed!

He is then seen running away from the scene of the crime and disappearing into the hallway. Only to be chased seconds after by his owner who finally noticed she had thieves in her kitchen! The cat seems disappointed to lose his prey, and to be honest, we feel pretty bad for him…that was well-earned!

Hopefully his mum will get right on cat-proofing her kitchen now! Check out the hilarious video below:
